What is a Virtual Domain?
A Virtual Domain means having your own domain name (http://www.yourdomain.com) without having to install expensive server hardware and software. With a Virtual Domain, you utilize our server's storage space; however, you are still professionally represented via your own personal Internet Web address (www.yourdomain.com) and by your own personal e-mail addresses (e.g., you@yourdomain.com).
Check to see if your desired domain name is available.

Are third-level domains (anyname.yourdomain.com) available?
Yes. We can give you a third-level domain name such as anyname.yourdomain.com provided you have an existing account with us. The advantage to these types of accounts is that there are no domain registration fees, except for your principle domain. The procedure to do this is to Park the third-level domain you wish to use, specify the sub-directory within your main account that you want the domain pointed to, then a script is activated that will redirect visitors to the third-level domain to the sub-directory. This is considered as subhosting.

Why do some companies offer unlimited data transfer/traffic? Why don't you?
Beware of those offering unlimited traffic! Unregulated traffic, especially when streaming audio is allowed, can be very taxing on a server causing slow response times and just poor system performance. To adequately accommodate such traffic, a provider would need to increase the number of T3 or DS3 lines. This, of course, is expensive and those costs would need to be passed on to the consumer. If the provider does not increase their bandwidth, but can offer very inexpensive solutions, then you as a their customer should prepare for poor performance from their web server(s).

Where are your servers located?
Hosted accounts and dedicated servers occupy multiple data centers, including locations in Chicago, Connecticut, North Carolina, Singapore, Shanghai and Hong Kong. Domain Name Services are operated out of Seattle, Washington. If you are a customer located outsite those areas and you are concerned about performance delays in accessing your site, then we suggest that you perform traceroute tests and ping tests from your local systems to our domains to verify speed and performance, and then compare the results to the competition. Let us know how we do. We are confident that the performance of our systems and network backbones are exceptional no matter from where sites are being accessed.
